ok ... so I'm an amateur and I don't measure stuff ... nonetheless ...
In a champagne flute or white wine glass ... pour a reasonable amount of vodka -- raspberry vodka if you like.
Add a drizzle of Chambord liqueur, till it's pretty and pink.
Fill the glass to an appropriate level with Champagne -- pink if you've got it.
Toast to Nadia.
Repeat.

Re: The Pink Nadia
Wed, November 30, 2005 - 12:50 AMA#1, this man is a liar -- he is categorically *not* an amateur in anything remotely related to delightful libations...
B#2, you should seriously try this drink. I believe he may have forgotten to mention the sliver of a lime twist that can't hurt, but even without that, you have one tasty treat here. It sounds wierd, but you owe it to your Hating-An-Empty-Cocktail-Glass self to have an open mind about this. I mean, come on -- who among us hasn't woken up with the ingredients to make this drink strewn about and heretofore seemingly unrelated?
C#3, take the "reasonable amount", "drizzle of" and "appropriate level" stuff with a grain of salt. And take it from me, it's a breakfast drink, so you've got all day to absorb it.
D#4 Do not skip the toast. It is essential... -

Fri, December 29, 2006 - 1:25 PMI'm allergic to raspberries...any ideas on a non-raspberry equivalent? I'm always looking for a new breakfast drink.
My current favorite? The mimostly:
champagne, OJ, pineapple rum, and fresh sliced strawberries.
