We've found two so far - any more suggestions?
"pumpkin martini"
3 oz bols smashing pumpkin liquer
1 oz capt morgan's spice rum
dash half & half
shake, strain, garnish with cinnamon
- very sweet
Champkin (?) (we need a better name)
3 oz champagne
3 oz Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale
so far all three of us are leaning towards service the champkin at our party.

Re: Halloween cocktails
Mon, October 17, 2005 - 1:05 PMA friend of mine always used to serve green apple martinis and add dry ice to the mix and called it 'Witch's Brew'.
Tasty, but not drinkable all night! -

An insanely delicious Vietnamese/Mexican fusion beverage:
One ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
Half a cup of sweetened condensed milk
One cup ice cube
Tequila to taste (tastes better with more rather than less)
Put the works in a blender and process until smooth. -

fill a small highball glass with ice
squeeze in one half a lime (it must be from a real lime, none of that crap in a plastic lime or Rose's crap. Better to substitute a lemon that is real)
Top 'er off with B & B
Garnish with a wedge of lime and cherry on a TPS*

Re: Halloween cocktails
Sat, October 22, 2005 - 10:15 AMboth of those recipes sound amazing, george. I wonder if you could cut the sweetness of the pumpkin martini by cutting back the pumpkin and adding a bit more rum or would it throw the flavor off too much?
How about a "smashed pumpkin" or "exploding pumpkin"? - a shot of pumpkin liquer in a half pint of pumpkin ale?
yum! I can't wait for halloween!
